What you will do

• Develop and coordinate co-curricular community-engaged learning opportunities, emphasizing opt-in and scalable programming.
• Manage administrative aspects including communications, reporting, participation tracking, and program budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners like non-profits and schools to create student placements.
• Recruit, train, and match students to projects aligned with their interests and learning goals.
• Deliver orientations, workshops, and resources to prepare students for community engagement.
• Supervise student staff and program assistants as required.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum one to two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays.
• Proficiency in MS 365 and web-based tools.
• Experience planning, coordinating programs, and facilitating groups.

Nice to have

• Experience working with university faculty, staff, students, non-profits, or public schools.
• Skills in event organizing, promotion, and innovative program development.
• Knowledge of adult education principles.
