What you will do

• Develop and implement youth programming, including after-school and cultural enrichment activities.
• Coordinate services for refugee children and parents in partnership with local school systems to ensure educational success.
• Orient newly arrived families to the American public-school system and relevant family law issues.
• Advocate for students in situations of abuse or neglect and support those requiring special education services.
• Monitor student progress and ensure all intake and service plan documentation is fully completed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive, strength-based services to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the human services field (strongly preferred).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to receive a fingerprint clearance card in accordance with Arizona State Law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
