Education Team Intern

TL;DR

Education Team Intern (Edtech): Design, launch, and scale programs empowering students to build software with hirify.global across top U.S. university campuses, with an accent on hackathons, workshops, and campus ambassador initiatives. Focus on campus activation strategies, event programming, content creation, and metrics tracking to drive engagement and advocacy.

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, CA (in-office Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

What you will do

• Design and execute campus activation playbook targeting Top 25 Engineering and Business programs across the U.S., partnering with student orgs, CS clubs, and innovation labs.
• Recruit, onboard, and enable Campus Leaders to run hirify.global workshops, demo days, and hack sessions.
• Plan and coordinate virtual/in-person events like workshops, webinars, and build-a-thons, managing run-of-show and follow-ups.
• Create playbooks, one-pagers, social media toolkits, and templates for campus promotion.
• Engage student communities on Discord, Slack, and social media, surfacing feedback and success stories.
• Track KPIs like event attendance, signups, and conversions, preparing weekly dashboards.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Top 25 U.S. Engineering or Business program (undergrad or graduate)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for compelling content and relationship-building
• Experience organizing campus events, hackathons, or student org programming
• Self-motivated with excellent project management skills to juggle multiple initiatives
• Familiarity with Discord, Slack, Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace
• Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and partnerships
• Enthusiasm for developer tools, AI, and software creation

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with hirify.global (projects, coursework, hackathons)
• Experience managing online communities or ambassador programs
• Familiarity with community health metrics (engagement, NPS, funnels)
• Prior internship in tech, edtech, or developer relations
• Personal network across target campuses (orgs, clubs, departments)
