General Counsel (Crypto/Fintech): Lead all legal matters across hirify.global group including regulatory engagement, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and compliance with an accent on Bhutanese regulatory frameworks. Focus on structuring product activities like agentic trading under regulations, providing legal sign-off on new features, and owning relationships with regulators.

What you will do

• Own relationships with Bhutanese regulators and monitor developments in Bhutan, Singapore, UK, US.
• Draft, review, negotiate material contracts including data licensing, API partnerships, staking, vendor, employment.
• Advise on corporate governance, support M&A, investments, restructuring, manage statutory filings.
• Provide legal sign-off on product features like agentic trading, prediction markets, ensure financial compliance (MAS, SEC).
• Oversee data protection, privacy (PDPA, GDPR), manage junior compliance hire, strengthen legal processes.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 8+ years post-qualification experience
• Must have the right to work in Bhutan
• Hands-on experience in crypto, fintech, or financial services regulatory matters
• Demonstrated ability to engage directly with regulators (MAS, FCA or equivalent)
• Hands-on mindset in fast-moving startup, pragmatic risk balancing
• AI-Native: familiarity with AI agent products and autonomous systems

Nice to have

• Admitted in Singapore, UK, US, or common law jurisdiction
• Exposure to token issuance, digital asset licensing (MAS MPI, FCA cryptoasset)
• Crypto-native understanding of onchain mechanics, DeFi, token structures, agentic systems
