TL;DR
Compliance Associate (Crypto): Lead and evolve global Compliance Assurance and Testing program with an accent on monitoring methodologies, high-impact testing reviews, and governance frameworks. Focus on synthesizing results into thematic reports, driving issue management lifecycles, and providing consultative assurance to business partners.
Location: Buenos Aires, Palermo office with mandatory in-office presence four days per week. Work from Anywhere Policy for up to 20 days per year.

What you will do
- Lead design and enhancement of monitoring and testing methodologies aligned with global standards like AML/CTF, Sanctions, and Conduct Risk.
- Conduct high-impact testing reviews on complex controls and high-risk business units.
- Synthesize testing results into thematic reports for MLROs and Board stakeholders, highlighting systemic risks.
- Drive issue management lifecycle, challenging remediation plans to address root causes.
- Act as SME providing consultative assurance for new products or processes.
- Guide and peer review junior analysts for consistent, high-quality documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Compliance Assurance, Governance, or Internal Audit within fintech, crypto, or financial services
- Advanced understanding of three lines of defence model and assurance methodologies
- Proven experience in data-led controls testing and remediations
- Proficiency in GRC platforms (e.g., Vanta) and data understanding
- Completed CAMS, ICA, or equivalent
- Experience in global or multi-entity environments, issue management, MAPs, and validation
- Exposure to regulatory exams or internal audits
