What you will do

• Serve as on-site team lead, managing time/attendance, leave calendars, reports, and spreadsheets for scholarship contractors.
• Support student application review, selection, progress tracking, and compliance with NOAA IT requirements.
• Handle inquiries via dedicated phone line, organize files, and assist with responses to information requests.
• Plan and facilitate student orientations, symposia, meetings, and recruitment events.
• Issue badges, draft correspondence, maintain event calendars, and submit social media content.
• Supervise junior staff and participate in professional development.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Silver Spring, MD, USA; no relocation assistance.
• 8+ years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in administrative support, program management, and education/outreach.
