What you will do

• Develop and implement youth programming, including after-school and cultural enrichment activities.
• Coordinate with local school systems to support refugee children's educational success and attendance.
• Orient newly arrived families to the US public-school system and relevant family law issues.
• Advocate for children in situations of abuse or neglect and assist special needs students in receiving proper services.
• Monitor student progress and maintain required compliance and intake documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the human services field (strongly preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, active insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• Must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card in accordance with Arizona State Law.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
