What you will do

• Lead operations of the NOAA Outreach Center and maintain agency-wide collections of education products.
• Design and develop new outreach materials and products to address audience needs and fill gaps.
• Coordinate national educational outreach efforts and participate in the NOAA Education Council.
• Plan and support participation in education conferences, workshops, and civic events.
• Manage the NOAA Education web portal and thematic content collections.
• Develop concepts for exhibits and coordinate their fabrication and installation.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Silver Spring, MD.
• Master’s degree in education, communications, or related fields.
• 8-10 years of related professional experience.
• Proven experience directing and leading others.
