TL;DR

Senior Vice President, Behavioral Health (Child Adolescent Psychiatrist): Building and scaling integrated behavioral health strategy for pediatric populations with complex medical, behavioral, and social needs with an accent on Medicaid value-based contracts and high-risk care models. Focus on designing trauma-informed services, reducing emergency use and costs, leading clinical outcomes, and partnering with operations for equity and access.

Location: Remote (US-based preferred), up to 25% travel, Monday-Friday 8-5 local time.

Salary: $300,000-370,000

What you will do

  • Define and execute pediatric behavioral health strategy aligned with Medicaid and value-based contracts.
  • Build and scale integrated services for serious mental illness, neurodevelopmental disorders, and high-risk populations.
  • Lead clinical quality, safety, outcomes measurement, and compliance with regulations.
  • Partner with operations, product, analytics, and payers to optimize care delivery and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, mentor multidisciplinary team and provide direct patient care (50% initially).
  • Collaborate across primary care, specialties, and community partners for seamless integration.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry subspecialty.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license; multi-state licensure strongly preferred.
  • 7-10+ years clinical experience with Medicaid/underserved pediatric populations.
  • Demonstrated success building/scaling behavioral health programs.
  • Experience with Medicaid structures, HEDIS metrics, integrated care, and telehealth.
  • Proven leadership in high-growth, matrixed organizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with PMHNPs.
  • Background in autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
