What you will do

• Serve as the primary architect of the behavioral health program, building collaborative care, e-consults, and serious mental illness interventions in partnership with clinical operations and social work leads.
• Monitor program performance via KPIs like patient engagement, symptom improvement (PHQ-9), and readmission rates; assess care quality through shadowing visits, chart reviews, and feedback.
• Provide psychiatric consultations, asynchronous e-consults, and direct patient care; participate in panel and case reviews for medical management.
• Contribute to training initiatives, clinical oversight for the behavioral health team, and relationships with external stakeholders like psychiatrists and therapists.
• Champion patient-centered culture, support change management, advocate for behavioral health equity, and improve clinical tools like the electronic health system.

Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist with at least 2 years clinical experience in adult psychiatry
• Experience serving geriatric, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid (D-SNP) populations
• Strong clinical leadership skills for program oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on psychiatric care in telehealth settings
• Ability to monitor KPIs, deliver feedback, and manage behavioral health clinicians
• Passion for geriatric behavioral health, fast-paced environments, and innovative care models
