Base Salary: $175,000 - $201,000 + 15% target annual bonus

What you will do

• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for key platform areas to align with company objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain robust APIs, data pipelines, and backend services for quantitative diagnosis applications.
• Lead architectural discussions across multiple teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with product management to translate complex business requirements into technical designs and engineering plans.
• Partner with the AI team to performance-tune image-based machine learning algorithms.
• Drive operational excellence through code reviews, unit test coverage, and bug triage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or other OO/Functional programming languages.
• Experience with server-side web and microservices frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express).
• Expertise in SQL (Postgres, NoSQL, Redis) and AWS infrastructure with CI pipelines.
• Experience in digital health (medical devices/imaging) and familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and service-to-service communication protocols.
• Deep specialization in medical imaging technology.
