Benefits and Leave Specialist (HR): Directing and planning group benefits programs and leave administration with an accent on legal compliance and vendor management. Focus on overseeing the return-to-work process, managing benefit enrollments in HRIS, and coordinating complex benefit billing.

Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end leave administration process, including FMLA, ADA, and state/local laws.
  • Coordinate group benefits programs including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and 401(k).
  • Ensure accuracy of benefit enrollments and data transmissions within the HRIS system.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims and process reconcilement.
  • Design and distribute materials for benefits orientation and open enrollment.
  • Handle monthly benefit invoice reconciliation and coordinate with accounting for payment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of benefits experience OR 7 years of total benefits experience.
  • At least 2 years of dedicated leave administration experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and applicable federal and state leave laws.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/payroll software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field of study.
  • Experience within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
