Location: Remote (Vancouver BC / Saskatoon SK / Whitehorse YT / Toronto ON)

Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 a year

What you will do

• Provide hydrology, hydraulics, and water resource engineering support for environmental projects.
• Develop hydrological conceptual site models using HEC-HMS, SWMM, and similar software.
• Build hydraulic models for water bodies and infrastructures using HEC-RAS, FLO2D.
• Create site-specific water balance models for GoldSim integration and climate records with projections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex water resource scopes.
• Mentor junior staff, build client relationships, develop scopes and estimates, and travel to sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineering designation required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Water Resources or Hydrotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in environmental or project consulting.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, water resources software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim), and coding (Python, R, MATLAB).
