Location: Hybrid - Burnaby, British Columbia. Relocation support will be considered.

Salary: $57,950 - $85,500 annually

What you will do

• Conduct field data collection and surveys for invasive plants, breeding birds, and fish habitats.
• Prepare desktop and field-based environmental assessment reports, regulatory submissions, and environmental management plans.
• Act as a field representative for site inspections, providing direction to contractors and client representatives.
• Coordinate effectively with external site stakeholders to ensure project progress.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Water Resource Engineers to meet specific client needs.
• Ensure all deliverables meet hirify.global’s quality standards and professional requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate education in environmental science, environmental management, environmental engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of related work experience in environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of municipal, BC provincial, and Canadian federal environmental acts, regulations, and protocols.
• Practical experience in field data collection, environmental management principles, and health and safety.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
