TL;DR

Federal Sales Director (SaaS/GRC): Developing and executing the Federal Go-to-Market strategy to drive customer acquisition within the Defense Industrial Base with an accent on DoW and Aerospace & Defense sectors. Focus on navigating complex federal procurement processes, building executive-level relationships with CISOs and AOs, and accelerating compliance automation.

Location: Remote-first, but must be located in the Washington, D.C. metro area; travel to customer sites and offices is required.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute the Federal Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy to expand presence across the Federal landscape.
  • Own the Federal sales pipeline, identifying and securing new customers, contract vehicles, and long-term partnerships.
  • Navigate Federal procurement processes, including FAR, DFARS, FedRAMP, and ATO regulatory frameworks.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers such as CISOs, ISSOs, and AOs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering to align platform capabilities with Federal requirements.
  • Establish and grow partnerships with systems integrators (SIs), resellers, and technology providers.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • 8+ years of SaaS/Enterprise Software Sales experience, with 5+ years specifically selling into the DoW.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar Federal contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of Federal procurement, budgeting cycles, and contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP, IDIQs, OTAs).
  • Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC, and ATO processes.
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a security clearance.
