TL;DR

Channel Sales Director (Cybersecurity/GRC): Developing, managing, and scaling strategic relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) across the United States to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer success. Focus on VAR recruitment, joint business plans, co-selling motions, pipeline development, and partner enablement programs.

Location: Remote across the United States, with 25-50% national travel.

What you will do

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential VARs across key U.S. regions targeting cybersecurity, compliance, MSP, and advisory resellers.
  • Develop geographic and vertical coverage strategies for industries like Financial Services, Healthcare, Government, and Manufacturing.
  • Own channel-sourced revenue targets, build joint business plans, drive co-selling, and manage pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • Lead partner onboarding, enablement, certification tracks, training sessions, roadshows, and operating cadence.
  • Manage partner contracts, incentives, MDF, and discount structures to increase deal sizes through bundling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in channel sales or partner management (preferably SaaS, cybersecurity, or GRC).
  • Proven experience managing national VAR ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise buying cycles.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal teams.
  • Strong executive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field OR equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with partners selling into regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
