Location: Remote (Must be based in the US; candidates in the New York metro area are preferred)

Salary: $179,200 - $280,000

What you will do

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the People team and business leaders on L&E matters including hiring, performance, and wage compliance
• Design and review People-related policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance scalability
• Train HRBPs and People managers on employment law developments and best practices
• Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and documents
• Manage outside counsel and represent the company in litigation and disputes

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-bar legal experience with deep expertise in Labor and Employment matters
• Meaningful in-house experience within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• Ability to register as New York in-house counsel
• Must be based in the United States
