What you will do

• Own payer contracting strategy, aligning business goals with legal and regulatory requirements
• Build scalable systems and processes for landing high-value payer contracts efficiently
• Review and negotiate terms of health plan agreements
• Partner with outside counsel on innovative approaches to unlock value and mitigate risks

Requirements

• 5+ years post-bar legal experience with deep healthcare contracting knowledge between payers and providers
• Meaningful in-house experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup
• Strong relationship-building and consensus skills amid competing priorities
• Builder mindset energized by operational structure enhancements
• J.D. from accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (ability to register as NY in-house counsel)
