Salary: $93,937 - $159,693 Annually

What you will do

• Act as technical liaison for communications, security, electrical, and life-safety technologies, including fire alarm fundamentals, to build credibility with end-user customers.
• Deliver BOMs, design documentation, specifications, fire alarm take-offs, plan reviews, and RFP evaluations using standards-based solutions.
• Coach sales representatives with solution strategy and technical guidance in assigned territories.
• Delegate tasks to Core Engineering teams for drafting, modeling, and documentation to improve efficiency.
• Liaise with key vendors and TAP manufacturers in fire alarm ecosystem to specify products.
• Support customer lab visits as subject matter expert and contribute to expanding fire alarm program.

Requirements

• US applicants only
• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience
• Licenses like CFPS or NICET preferred
• 9+ years in technical design, implementation, or commissioning
• 5+ years designing with Visio or Bluebeam
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong technical knowledge, customer-centric mindset, public speaking skills
• Ability to travel 10%-25%

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or engineering discipline
• CFPS or NICET Fire Alarm Systems (Level II, III, or IV)
• Experience specifying fire alarm solutions in distribution or integrator environment
