Associate Principal (Security)

Location: Remote (United States). Must be eligible to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available. Role involves approximately 25% travel to client sites.

Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 a year

What you will do

• Lead multi-discipline projects from programming through closeout, ensuring deliverables meet quality and constructability standards.
• Mentor Designers and engineers through hands-on guidance, design reviews, and structured quarterly feedback.
• Improve firmwide engineering systems by contributing to standards and workflows via GitHub Pull Requests.
• Cultivate client relationships and support business pursuits by contributing technical narratives and participating in interviews.
• Deliver coordinated discipline designs, including layouts, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Project and Group Leads to align on scope, sequencing, and coordination strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in AEC or professional services with expertise in ICT, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not provided).
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, and GitHub.
• Proven ability to lead discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects and make sound engineering decisions.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications: PSP/CPP (Security), CDT, EIT, PE, or PMP.
