TL;DR

Associate Security (Physical Security): Designing and delivering technology system designs for electronic and physical security within the AEC industry with an accent on coordinated modeling and construction documentation. Focus on resolving coordination issues, validating design assumptions, and managing discipline-specific deliverables using Revit.

Location: Remote (United States). Must be eligible to work in the US; no visa sponsorship provided. Approximately 25% of work involves travel to client sites.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 a year

What you will do

• Own and deliver discipline-specific designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations for security systems.
• Lead small projects and support the execution of larger projects under the mentorship of senior engineers.
• Manage BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and reliable project follow-through.
• Contribute to pursuit efforts by preparing discipline inputs and early fee assumptions for proposals.
• Maintain high model health and documentation standards within GitHub, Asana, and Design Decision Logs.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience with coordinated modeling.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workloads across multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of technology systems and engineering principles.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications: EIT, CDT, PSP/CPP (Security), or PE.
• Experience in ICT and Electronic Security disciplines.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Asana, and GitHub.
