What you will do

• Prepare and remit Canadian sales tax and U.S. sales and use tax returns.
• Calculate estimated tax payments and perform reconciliation of tax accounts.
• Research sales tax queries and draft response letters to tax notices and correspondence.
• Maintain business license registrations and remit property tax and recycling fees.
• Assist with Canadian and U.S. sales tax audits.
• Support the Financial Reporting group with month-end/quarter-end reporting and SG&A variance analysis.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience with tax reconciliation or indirect tax compliance.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON, CA.
• Knowledge of Canadian and USA corporate tax.
• CPA designation preferred or in final stages.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle ERP.
• Experience with Onesource Indirect Tax Determination (Sabrix) and Onesource Compliance.
