What you will do

• Oversee multiple client engagements, including tax planning and consulting, while managing budgets.
• Manage client compliance engagements independently from start to finish.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client sponsors and grow the client base.
• Coach and mentor staff at all levels and conduct performance reviews.
• Identify new business opportunities and build professional networks.
• Provide thought leadership and recommendations on complex tax issues.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• 10+ years of current and progressive public accounting experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading high-performing teams.
• Prior leadership in a tax role within another public accounting firm.
• Must be based in or able to work in Milwaukee, WI

Nice to have

• Strong background in partnership taxation.
• Proficiency in tax matters affecting real estate clients.
• Expertise in computerized tax software and Microsoft Office.
