Sustaining Hardware Engineer

What you will do

• Manage component obsolescence and support customers to extend the lifecycle of existing products.
• Redesign legacy products from requirements definition through final verification testing.
• Create schematics and PCB designs while ensuring original requirements are met.
• Identify and perform the required analysis and development activities.
• Report technical issues and project progress.
• Conduct schematic and PCB layout design reviews and submit technical work for obsolescence management review.

Requirements

• 3+ years of electronics engineering experience.
• Experience with high-speed digital circuit design.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and contribute to design reviews.
• Some roles may require meeting BPSS pre-employment screening and security or export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with PC motherboard architecture, including 64-bit microprocessors, PCI Express, Ethernet, or DDR4 memory.
• Experience with programmable logic devices or FPGA.
• Understanding of embedded software.
• Experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
• MEng, MSc, or BEng in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
