Head of Developer Experience (AI Agents): Define positioning, build community, and own developer adoption for hirify.global's video, voice, and avatar platform with an accent on API, CLI, MCP, and Skills integrations. Focus on crafting developer-native narratives, driving partnerships with AI frameworks, and shipping high-quality developer surfaces like docs, SDKs, and onboarding flows.

Preferred: Los Angeles or San Francisco. Remote candidates will also be considered for the right fit.

$200,000 – $270,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Define hirify.global's positioning and narrative for developers building AI products with video, voice, and avatars.
• Build presence in developer communities (GitHub, Hacker News, Discord) and drive partnerships with AI agent ecosystems.
• Organize events, hackathons, and create tutorials, sample apps, and integration guides to boost adoption.
• Own end-to-end developer adoption, launches, and metrics like API signups and activation.
• Shape the developer product surface: docs, SDKs, CLI, onboarding, and roadmap influence.
• Position hirify.global as essential infrastructure for AI agents and amplify early adopter stories.

Requirements

• 7–10 years in developer experience, marketing, relations, or technical product management; 3+ years leadership.
• Track record driving adoption for API/platform products, ideally AI/ML/infrastructure.
• Deep AI/ML and agentic AI knowledge; technical fluency to engage engineers.
• Experience building developer communities from early stage.
• Strong content instincts and product builder mindset; comfortable as solo operator in startup.
• AI-native: fluent in AI agent workflows and daily AI tool usage.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI agent ecosystems like OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI.
