Senior HR Business Partner (Battery Materials): Partnering with Technology & Research business units to align HR strategies with business objectives, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support employee relations with an accent on performance management, talent development, and strategic recruiting. Focus on resolving complex employee relations issues, reducing legal risk, building retention strategies, and presenting data-driven recommendations to executives.

Location: Alameda, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $136,000–$172,000 base pay annually, plus potential benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses.

What you will do

Partner with leaders and employees across the Technology & Research business units.
Develop and execute recruiting and retention strategies.
Lead performance reviews, talent calibrations, and promotion processes.
Resolve complex employee relations matters while minimizing legal risks and maintaining compliance.
Hire, coach, and support employees through feedback, challenge resolution, and recognition.

Requirements

8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience.
Working knowledge of compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
Experience with Google Suite, ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse, and Lattice.
Strong data analytics and visualization skills.
Experience building and presenting executive-level presentations.
Ability to work onsite in Alameda and remain stationary for extended periods while operating office equipment.
