What you will do
- Conduct individual assessments to identify skills and create realistic Individual Support Plans.
- Deliver tailored job readiness coaching and workshops, including CV development and interview preparation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to facilitate direct placements and inclusive recruitment.
- Provide guidance on small-scale self-employment and UK start-up compliance requirements.
- Manage accurate case noting and database reporting to evidence client progress.
- Collaborate with Jobcentre Plus (DWP) and other statutory employment support services.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Hampshire.
- Minimum two years of experience delivering employability support to refugees, migrants, or vulnerable populations.
- Strong knowledge of the local Hampshire employment context and the UK labor market.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Ability to communicate in Dari, Pashto, or other relevant community languages.
- Lived experience of forced migration, resettlement, or navigating UK employment systems.
- Experience supporting clients with self-employment pathways and UK start-up basics.
