Claims Handler (Insurance): Managing a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist motor claims from start to settlement with an accent on liability assessment, quantum calculation, and fraud validation. Focus on providing exceptional relationship management to fleet customers while ensuring indemnity spend is minimized through commercial decision-making.

Location: Must be based in or near Liverpool, UK (Hybrid role).

Salary: £28,747 – £38,160 per annum plus £2,000 annual bonus potential.

What you will do

• Validate claims for indemnity and fraud while assessing liability.
• Manage a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist motor claims from start to settlement.
• Communicate decisions to claimants and representatives to establish exposure.
• Perform accurate quantum assessments and identify opportunities to reduce overall exposure.
• Maintain proactive diary management to progress cases effectively.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Must have significant experience in PI (Personal Injury) and/or credit hire claims.
• Extensive knowledge of Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (if applicable).
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyze information and make accurate, independent decisions.
• Must be able to work from the Liverpool City Centre office on a hybrid basis.
