TL;DR

AVP, Client Account Management (HubSpot): Leading the stability and growth of the client portfolio with an accent on maximizing Lifetime Value (LTV) and minimizing churn. Focus on transforming the Account Management function into a proactive trusted advisor model and optimizing Net Revenue Retention (NRR).

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 a year

What you will do

  • Own Net Retention Rate (NRR) and Gross Retention Rate (GRR) metrics, developing early warning systems to mitigate churn risks.
  • Design frameworks to shift Account Managers from administrative coordination to strategic partnership.
  • Standardize and oversee the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process to translate technical milestones into C-suite ROI.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the existing portfolio to drive organic growth.
  • Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing Account Management vertical.
  • Leverage HubSpot CRM and AI tools to forecast churn and streamline client reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of improving NRR and GRR within an agency or professional services environment.
  • Expertise in moving client relationships from tactical execution to strategic partnership.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders (CEO, CMO, CFO).
  • Deep familiarity and practitioner-level expertise in the HubSpot ecosystem.
  • Experience managing KPIs such as client health scores and referral rates.
  • Must be based in the United States.

  • Direct experience in a fast-paced agency environment with retainer-based relationships.
  • Proficiency in data-driven storytelling using BI tools.
  • AI fluency with tools like Gemini or HubSpot AI.
  • Specialized knowledge in SaaS, Healthcare, or Technology verticals.
