What you will do

• Analyze technical issues and provide engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
• Document and diagram system architectures to ensure seamless hand-off to operational teams.
• Lead long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution.
• Test, modify, and automate systems to improve integration and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Technicians, and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify technical and timeline risks early and manage client expectations.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in VMware technology, including cloud computing, security, and networking.
• Hands-on experience in VMware systems administration, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Must be based in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland for in-person work.
• Proven experience driving engineering solutions across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and process improvement experience.
