What you will do

• Implement high-level designs for stable network and infrastructure environments compliant with security and audit requirements.
• Lead the maintenance of IT infrastructure components, including network, security, storage, and compute services.
• Collaborate with application development, enterprise architecture, and cyber security teams to execute product roadmaps.
• Translate architectural designs into operational production-ready solutions.
• Develop documentation and tooling to improve the manageability of infrastructure.
• Mentor other infrastructure engineers and share knowledge on emerging industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure Architecture and IT Infrastructure planning and delivery.
• Proven ability in technical decision-making and complex scenario analysis.
• Deep knowledge of security practices to protect information systems from unauthorized access.
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Hemel Hempstead or Ipswich.

Nice to have

• Experience in programming and scripting for task automation.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing and digital asset migration.
• Background in Project or Programme Management.
• Experience with Managed Services and hardware/software testing.
