What you will do
- Proactively identify, research, and pursue net-new business through aggressive outbound prospecting.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools like ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and SalesLoft to prioritize outreach based on buying signals.
- Execute a systematic outbound cadence including cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach.
- Map target accounts and identify key decision-makers within the government and defense sectors.
- Convert cold outreach into qualified opportunities and transfer them to Account Executives.
- Handle objections using battle-tested talk tracks to secure booked meetings.
Requirements
- Proven outbound prospecting experience with a history of carrying cold-call quotas.
- Must be based in Des Moines, IA, and able to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
- Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft or Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Resilient hunter mindset with the ability to handle rejection and prioritize multiple work streams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling cold outreach.
- Comfort with using AI-enabled sales tools as a force multiplier.
Nice to have
- SaaS sales experience.
- Experience selling into defense, government, or cleared-community sectors.
- Prior experience with AI-powered prospecting tools such as Clay, Amplemarket, Apollo, or 6sense.
