What you will do

  • Proactively identify, research, and pursue net-new business through aggressive outbound prospecting.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools like ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and SalesLoft to prioritize outreach based on buying signals.
  • Execute a systematic outbound cadence including cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach.
  • Map target accounts and identify key decision-makers within the government and defense sectors.
  • Convert cold outreach into qualified opportunities and transfer them to Account Executives.
  • Handle objections using battle-tested talk tracks to secure booked meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven outbound prospecting experience with a history of carrying cold-call quotas.
  • Must be based in Des Moines, IA, and able to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft or Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Resilient hunter mindset with the ability to handle rejection and prioritize multiple work streams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling cold outreach.
  • Comfort with using AI-enabled sales tools as a force multiplier.

Nice to have

  • SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience selling into defense, government, or cleared-community sectors.
  • Prior experience with AI-powered prospecting tools such as Clay, Amplemarket, Apollo, or 6sense.
