Location: Onsite in Teaneck, New Jersey

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
• Support compliance initiatives related to privacy and AI governance.
• Optimize contract workflows, templates, and legal playbooks for efficiency.
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Product, HR, and Finance to provide practical legal guidance.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory and industry developments impacting the business.
• Assist with corporate governance, risk management, and dispute prevention.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York or New Jersey preferred).
• Ability to register as in-house counsel in New Jersey.
• 1+ years of professional legal experience, preferably with commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and professional integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, licensing, or procurement agreements.
• Familiarity with basic privacy concepts such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, or Product teams.
• Comfort using CLM systems or legal ops workflows.
