Salary: $141,000 – $191,000

What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, focusing on NDAs and standard-form contracts.
- Manage routine commercial matters independently while collaborating with senior counsel on complex negotiations.
- Support sales and business development teams to ensure quick turnaround times and maintain deal velocity.
- Explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Develop and refine scalable legal templates and self-serve resources to empower business teams.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of a high-growth startup environment.
Requirements
- JD and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
- 3-7 years of technology transactions experience with B2B SaaS in an in-house or big law firm setting.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commercial agreements.
- Ability to work independently on routine matters while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with non-legal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, particularly during month-end closing periods.
Nice to have
- In-house legal experience or background in a high-growth startup/scale-up.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or legal technology sectors.
- Exposure to privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and data protection agreement negotiations.
