TL;DR

Associate Account Executive (Govtech): Driving pipeline creation and lead generation for an AI-enabled public safety platform with an accent on in-person field engagement and relationship building. Location: Remote (Must reside within or near the West territory - Pacific to Mountain Time Zone)

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 Annually + Commission

What you will do

  • Represent the company at onsite events, conferences, and agency meetings across the West region.
  • Identify and nurture early-stage relationships with law enforcement agencies and District Attorney's Offices.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule discovery/demo meetings in collaboration with Senior AEs.
  • Execute sales for small agencies by tailoring the value proposition to their specific operational challenges.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, activity metrics, and lead tracking within the CRM.
  • Coordinate with pre-sales, marketing, and deployment teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new customers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in business development or sales, preferably in SaaS or Govtech (or 5+ years of law enforcement/DA experience).
  • Must reside within or near the West territory (Pacific to Mountain Time Zone).
  • Willingness to travel extensively (~50%) throughout the Western U.S..
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for live demos and in-person agency visits.
  • Ability to independently drive field activity and prospecting without constant direction.
  • Strong time management and CRM hygiene.

Nice to have

  • Experience with trade shows or field marketing programs in a law enforcement vertical.
  • Familiarity with government procurement cycles and law enforcement hierarchies.
  • Previous experience serving in a support capacity to first responders or as a practitioner in LE.
