Salary: $86,800 - $198,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide guidance on the design and management of government and private-sector R&D programs for subsurface resource extraction.
• Advise clients on emerging technology needs in the energy sector.
• Collaborate with technology experts to integrate maturing technologies from other sectors.
• Author technical papers, reports, and program plans for diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in a Physical Science or Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience authoring technical reports or program plans on subsurface resource extraction.
• 2+ years of experience in mining, drilling, reservoir analysis, geophysics, or related fields.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
