What you will do

• Identify project objectives and coordinate with SMEs to select equipment for potential solutions.
• Develop and test microgrid control sequences and deliverables for project execution.
• Conduct PSCAD EMT simulations for IBR, microgrids, grid-forming, and data center applications.
• Coordinate with suppliers to prototype and validate product specifications.
• Develop system architecture concepts and technical documents.
• Analyze testbed results, condense learnings, and transfer to project design and product engineering.

Requirements

• BS or MS in electrical, systems, or renewable energy engineering.
• 2+ years experience; clean energy strongly preferred.
• Experience in power systems modeling (PSCAD and/or PSSE).
• Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.
• Team player able to collaborate across engineering, project management, and commercial teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to project and international locations.

Nice to have

• Experience in Python or other coding languages.
• Power plant design experience.
• Knowledge of PV, wind, inverters, green hydrogen, EVs.
