TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Merritt Island, FL. Must be a US Citizen and located in ET or CT time zones.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

What you will do
- Develop comprehensive civil construction drawing packages, including site plans, utility profiles, paving, and drainage plans.
- Create record drawing documentation based on contractor redlines, as-built surveys, and engineer input.
- Perform in-field walk-downs of facilities to verify existing conditions prior to design efforts.
- Apply standard design requirements to perform limited engineering designs for utility systems and site elements.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure adherence to project and client-specific drafting standards.
- Manage coordinate systems, surface creation, and alignment labeling within Civil3D.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen to meet security clearance requirements.
- Candidates must be located in ET or CT time zones.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of drafting/design experience specifically using Autodesk Civil3D.
- A.S. in Drafting and Design or equivalent professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the civil engineering design process and National CAD Standards (NCS).
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license in state of residence.
Nice to have
- Experience with GIS mapping software such as QGIS or ArcGIS Map.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Map, Vehicle Tracking, and Recapture.
