Industrial Engineer

TL;DR

Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing): Analyzes and designs workflows, equipment layouts, and production sequences to improve efficiencies and utilization of facilities and personnel with an accent on factory layout, work measurement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Focus on conducting cost control studies, implementing facility modifications, and developing production record systems.

Location: Ocala, FL (onsite). Must be US Citizen, clearable, and resident.

Pay: $55 to $62.26/hr (W2 hourly contract)

What you will do

• Analyze and design operations sequences, workflows, and equipment layouts to boost plant efficiencies.
• Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Conduct studies on cost control, reduction, inventory, and production records; implement plans for facility revisions.
• Assist in accident prevention measures and manage training programs for production operations.
• Support facilities engineers in planning and designing facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + minimum 3 years in industrial engineering in manufacturing.
• At least 6 years with factory layout and design, large layout development for productivity.
• 6+ years in work measurement, time standards, PMTS, work sampling, direct time study.
• Extensive experience in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, data/statistical analysis.
• 6+ years with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
