Location: Onsite in Willimantic, CT

What you will do

  • Manage full-cycle HR activities, including selection, hiring, orientation, and onboarding processes.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention through hands-on interaction and strategic program implementation.
  • Provide HR guidance to plant leadership on performance management, succession planning, and organizational structure.
  • Ensure all HR practices and policies comply with federal and state labor laws and corporate regulations.
  • Oversee the leave of absence process, including FMLA, STD, and LTD, and track employee training hours.
  • Develop and execute a facility communications strategy through formal meetings, focus groups, and surveys.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HRBP experience, with a strong preference for a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of US federal and state employment and labor laws.
  • Proven success in talent management and building organizational competencies.
  • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment, including the use of PPE (ear plugs, safety glasses, safety toe shoes).
