What you will do
- Serve as the Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) for the Delaware insurance agency and act as the primary regulatory point of accountability.
- Maintain active producer licenses and provide direct oversight of all insurance-related activities conducted under the entity license.
- Provide compliance guidance on insurance products, distribution models, and marketing practices to support product launches.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and KRIs to identify trends, control gaps, and emerging regulatory risks.
- Implement controls, testing frameworks, and maintain insurance-specific policies aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Oversee individual producer licensing, appointments, and manage relationships with carrier partners.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in insurance compliance, agency operations, or regulatory risk.
- Active insurance producer license (Delaware required).
- Ability to qualify as Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) under Delaware law.
- Strong working knowledge of state insurance regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with insurance distribution, producer licensing, and carrier relationships.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, embedded insurance, or multi-state distribution models.
- Prior experience serving as a DRLP or equivalent responsible producer role.
