TL;DR

Compliance Lead, Product Advisory (Fintech): Designing and implementing compliance programs for consumer-facing financial products with an accent on product advisory, risk mitigation, and regulatory interpretation. Focus on balancing regulatory expectations with business objectives and guiding cross-functional teams through complex compliance scenarios.

Location: Remote (USA). Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $115,000 - $170,000 per year

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks without compromising business objectives.
  • Review and approve financial services marketing materials for regulatory and industry standard compliance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to resolve root causes of compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain compliance training and reference materials.
  • Support the completion of compliance risk assessments and control inventories.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance for new and revised financial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance product advisory role within financial services.
  • Experience advising on products subject to TILA (Reg. Z) and/or EFTA (Reg. E).
  • Working knowledge of consumer financial laws including UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, and ECOA.
  • Ability to make risk-based decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with incomplete information.
  • Must be based in the United States.
