Salary: $184,000 - $225,000 plus equity and a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Advise the company on a range of corporate and securities matters.
• Manage public company reporting obligations, including the preparation of corporate and securities filings.
• Handle corporate governance materials, such as board resolutions and stockholder documents.
• Review and draft inbound and outbound corporate and commercial agreements.
• Provide legal counsel in connection with new business and product initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience, with at least 2 years at a leading national law firm.
• Prior experience with public company filings, reporting obligations, and governance.
• California Bar membership or eligibility to practice as California Registered In-House Counsel.
• Strong drafting, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and present clear recommendations.
• Must be based in the US.

• Prior in-house experience.
• Familiarity with privacy issues.
• Experience advising clients in regulated financial industries (e.g., investment adviser, broker-dealer, banking).
• Experience reviewing marketing or sales materials.
