TL;DR

Account Executive, Commercial Accounts (Software): Developing and closing business with new and existing commercial segment customers with an accent on the SLED vertical and channel partner collaboration. Focus on building a robust sales pipeline, executing territory plans to maximize revenue, and driving account strategies.

Location: Remote (Must reside in/around the NYC metro area)

Salary: $190,400 — $317,300 USD (TTC/OTE)

What you will do

  • Develop sales activities for new commercial customers and upsell/cross-sell to existing ones, primarily in the SLED vertical.
  • Build sales pipeline through proactive calling and lead conversion.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and Systems Engineers to qualify and deliver product demonstrations.
  • Close business using a tier-two partner model in conjunction with hirify.global partners.
  • Coordinate with SDRs, Channel Partner Managers, and Marketing to drive account strategies and team selling efforts.
  • Manage forecasting and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience selling software via channels and to end-users.
  • Proven track record in B2B consultative selling, specifically within the SLED vertical.
  • Knowledge of large distributors and value-added resellers (VARs) and the virtualization industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
