TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Higher Education): Driving growth within the public sector by identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities in universities and colleges with an accent on outbound lead generation and stakeholder engagement. Focus on building a robust pipeline through cold calling, emailing, and aligning hirify.global's visual communication tools with academic needs.

Location: Hybrid (Austin, Texas). In-office attendance required Tuesday-Thursday.

What you will do

  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities within Higher Education institutions (universities, colleges, and academic systems).
  • Build a sales pipeline through outbound strategies including cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams and connect with stakeholders such as faculty, marketing teams, and campus leadership.
  • Analyze university priorities like digital transformation and accessibility to align hirify.global’s solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams for Public Sector campaigns.
  • Manage leads and pipeline using Salesforce, Pocus, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional excited to enter the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong interest in education, technology, and creative efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building professional relationships.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to hit weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Austin, Texas office (Tuesday-Thursday).

Nice to have

  • Experience with cold outreach, internships, or customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other outreach platforms.
