TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS/HR Tech): Generating new business opportunities and building the revenue funnel through outbound prospecting and lead generation with an accent on identifying key decision-makers and nurturing business relationships. Focus on executing outbound campaigns, conducting discovery calls, and managing the sales pipeline within the NYC market.

Location: Must be based in the New York Metro Area; required to work in the NYC office at least three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Salary: Base salary from $64,350 per year plus variable compensation.

What you will do

  • Prospect, identify, and nurture business relationships in target accounts to generate new opportunities.
  • Perform outbound calls and email outreach to engage potential customers.
  • Identify key decision-makers and determine their buying readiness and timelines.
  • Manage lead data and performance metrics within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute growth campaigns.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in lead generation or outbound sales.
  • Strong interest in or professional experience within a SaaS organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as an independent self-starter.
  • Must be located in the New York Metro Area.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Knowledge of HR tech platforms or the HR industry.
