Director, Client Development & Sales LATAM (Commodities): Manage and grow corporate client relationships in Latin America with focus on Commodities ecosystem (Agriculture, Energy, Metals) with an accent on sales pipeline management, revenue growth, and cross-selling CME products. Focus on prospecting target accounts, resolving client hurdles, providing market intelligence, and driving volume through strategic partnerships.

What you will do

  • Maintain sales relationships with top corporate clients and prospect new accounts across Latin America.
  • Manage a data-driven sales pipeline in Salesforce to track growth and conversions.
  • Drive revenue by increasing volume, open interest, and cross-selling broader CME products.
  • Navigate internal resources to resolve client issues on access, margins, and onboarding.
  • Partner on business development, provide regional market intelligence for product strategies.
  • Deepen strategic partnerships and deliver tailored education via seminars and webinars.

Requirements

  • Professionally fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese with ability to negotiate and present in all three.
  • Proven track record in financial markets, preferably Commodities (Trading, Merchandising, or Brokerage) in Latin America.
  • BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or related quantitative field.
  • Understanding of futures, options, derivative hedging strategies, and US/LATAM regulatory environment.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with high collaboration and 30-40% travel.
