What you will do

• Review and approve high-risk work procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Verify that lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety controls are correctly defined and usable.
• Identify hazards and confirm that mitigations are complete and residual risks are acceptable.
• Evaluate prescribed tools and lifting methods, including weight limits and margins.
• Classify procedure risk levels and provide safety sign-offs.
• Collaborate with EHS partners and share best practices across the Development & Engineering community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety engineering or a closely related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product development or engineering environments.
• Working knowledge of machine and human safety standards such as ISO 12100, CE marking, and OSHA.
• Familiarity with risk methods including FMEA, HAZOP, and JSA.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by US Export Administration Regulations.
