What you will do

• Design and implement scalable integration solutions using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop integration design patterns to ensure scalability, reusability, and maintainability across the People Technology ecosystem.
• Create and manage data extracts, reporting solutions (BIRT, Docs for Layouts), and complex calculated fields.
• Monitor and optimize integration pipelines to enhance platform reliability, diagnose issues, and implement structural improvements.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers and Product Managers within an Agile delivery model to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure all integration solutions meet strict data privacy, security, and audit requirements, including encryption and secure file transfer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise platforms and the design and delivery of Workday integrations.
• Proficiency in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and API-based integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Experience developing Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and calculated fields.
• Deep understanding of the Workday Core HCM data model and cross-integration data flows.
• Proven track record of operating in Agile delivery environments and owning defined workstreams.
• Experience implementing secure data exchange mechanisms, such as encryption and SFTP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Orchestrate.
• Familiarity with the Workday Security model.
• Exposure to Workday functional domains such as Absence, Compensation, or Talent.
• Experience working within global enterprise environments across multiple regions.
