Salary: $162,000 - $235,000 per year

What you will do

• Secure cloud environments by managing IAM roles, policies, and constructing security boundaries for resources.
• Provide expert security guidance for Cloud and Kubernetes architectures.
• Develop automation to solve security problems at the root and harden digital integrity.
• Design, build, and configure security infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Manage the security posture of workloads deployed in Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in security engineering.
• Deep understanding of Authentication, Authorization, and Zero-Trust applied to cloud-native infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes, including admission controllers, vulnerability management, and supply-chain security.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for building security automation.
• Experience writing and utilizing Terraform.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA, for a hybrid work schedule.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux OS, CI/CD, and application security principles.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with machine identity frameworks like SPIFFE/SPIRE or mTLS.
